Learning for Adults – in your local community

Would you like to:

  • Learn something new
  • Brush up on your skills
  • Meet new people
  • Get involved in your community

Perhaps you are thinking of about making changes in your life eg. Going back to work or changing jobs, learning something new or developing your skills. Perhaps your personal situation has changed and you realise that you would like to develop your skills – it may be that:

  • Your child is asking for help with their homework
  • At work they have introduced different systems and you need to use a computer or write more

Or perhaps you would like to learn or move on but don’t know where to start. As the local Adult Learning Worker I can help you decide. I can provide confidential information and advice to help you find out about learning, working and becoming active in your community. I will also be organising some short courses and other learning opportunities in the local area based on what people would like; for example Confidence building, Build your self-esteem, Worldwise  -learning and linking local and global issues, computing, ancestry workshops….
